Negativity
There’s already so much negativity in the world, I resolve not to add to it… :p I will try to avoid (as much as I can) posting my negative feelings and thoughts. There’s a lot of ways to look at things, and finding a positive way of looking at things is a good start. :) If ever I do post something negative (like an emo post or something), I’ll try to delete it...

False Reporting
Someone filed a police report with some objectionable content. Not everything on it was true. They were suggesting that someone might cause them harm due to a statement that was made. However, the person was quoted out of context. Surely, this act of “false reporting” can be considered illegal, right?

Forwarded Email
Someone forwarded this to me… An Angel says, ‘Never borrow from the future. If you worry about what may happen tomorrow and it doesn’t happen, you have worried in vain. Even if it does happen, you have to worry twice.’ Pray Go to bed on time. Get up on time so you can start the day unrushed. Say No to projects that won’t fit into your time schedule, or...

NetNewsWire+HN Feed = Tons of unread news
For some reason, every time NNW fetches HN’s feed, it adds all the items even though they’ve been fetched before. In my case, I set NNW to fetch every hour and every hour that it fetches, the total items under HN goes up even without new items. Somewhat annoying, haven’t reported it to NNW yet. Solution for now would be to remove HN from NNW’s list.

I Don't Owe You Anything. I Don't Need To Give You...
I offered to pay, you rejected it and decided to pay for your share. Time passed by. You tell (or rather order) me that since I offered money, I should pay your PUB this month. Last night, I try to give you back the money that you paid for your share. Instead of talking to me, you insult me. I only have these things to say… I do not owe you anything. I do not need to listen to...

Just a Thought
Let’s assume for a second that you’re not dumb. Let’s also say that you’re too sensitive to any kind of sound and that you’re easily annoyed. Now, you’re given a chance to pick a house or place to stay. Would you honestly pick a room that has glass doors and is positioned so close to the kitchen and living room area knowing that there are other people in the...

Gentoo isn't for me...
I tried to install Gentoo but gave up. I used a stage3 tarball but I guess I’m not as interested in compiling and configuring packages like I once was. I’m still pretty satisfied with Debian, I just wanted to try Gentoo. Maybe I should just update my system to Debian Sid? :D

Remote Editing
Using Emacs on my Mac is kind of slow. I’ve spent some time looking for an alternative and I think I’ve finally settled on using Cyberduck+Smultron. I tried Textmate, it looks/feels good and all that but it’s a bit expensive for me right now. I might try it again some time soon, though.

Digitel's DSL service is broken...
On mornings, everything seems to work fine. However, when I try to do web stuff or play WoW on evenings, everything starts to become frustrating to do… I’m not sure why. It wasn’t like this before.

iPod Touch Display Suddenly Went Dead
I was in a jeepney, happily listening to my music. I adjusted the volume, skipped some songs, did some other normal stuff then turned off the display and listened to more music. I pressed the home button. The display didn’t light up. I pressed the power button. No luck there, either. What the hell was up? My music was still playing, though. I realized that I hadn’t rebooted my iPod for...

Oh... I'm using Linux
Someone from Smart Bro called and he wanted to troubleshoot the internet connection. He asked me if I was running Windows XP or Windows Vista. I then told him that I was running Mac OS X. He was kind of familiar with it, asking me to open Network Preferences and restarting Safari (although I actually used Firefox and just gave him the impression that I was using Safari). After troubleshooting, I...
